Rules Students Must Follow During Exams
Students must attend the exam for the course they are registered in on the announced date, time, and location.
Students are required to be present in the exam hall before the exam begins. Students arriving more than 15 minutes late will not be admitted to the exam hall. No additional time will be granted to latecomers.
Once the exam has started, no student is allowed to leave the exam hall, even if they have completed the exam, until half of the exam duration has elapsed. In cases of health issues or other compelling reasons, the student may leave the hall with the permission and/or supervision of an invigilator.
Rules regarding student ID cards:
a. Students without a student ID card, a student certificate, or an exam entry document are not allowed to take the exam.
b. Students who fail to present their ID to the invigilator will have their exams deemed invalid.
c. Student ID cards with altered photos or identification information will not be accepted.
d. During the exam, students must keep their student ID card on the desk in a visible position for the invigilator.
Students are prohibited from bringing the following devices into the exam. If they bring these devices, they will be treated as cheating, regardless of whether the devices are used:
a. Any devices with smart, image-capturing, or communication features, such as computers, mobile phones, tablets, watches, and cameras.
b. Any digital or mechanical communication devices, such as walkie-talkies and pagers.
c. Calculators and devices with dictionary functions, unless otherwise specified.
At the beginning of the exam, students must accurately and completely write/encode the required information on the exam documents, such as name-surname, department/program, student number, and booklet type. In exams graded by optical scanners, answers must be marked in the designated fields on the optical form.
Students are solely responsible for any failure to properly or completely write/encode the required information on exam documents or for marking answers only in the question booklet, resulting in their scores not being calculated or being calculated incorrectly.
Behaviors considered cheating include:
a. Talking with other students during the exam.
b. Copying answers, sharing answers, or assisting others in copying.
c. Possessing prohibited devices during the exam.
d. Exchanging items like pens, erasers, or calculators during the exam.
e. Capturing images of exam materials or removing exam documents from the exam hall.
Students are not allowed to leave the exam hall without signing the attendance list and submitting their exam documents.
Students must not engage in any behavior that disrupts the order of the exam.
During the exam, students must comply with all instructions from invigilators. The validity of their exam depends on adhering to the exam rules.
Disciplinary action will be initiated in accordance with the relevant regulations for students who violate the rules or disregard warnings, with an official report being prepared.
